With both seasons of the TV series (spun off from the classic film) already available, MGM is going back to the well one more time and bringing out a DVD release for
The Magnificent Seven - The Complete Series. This 5-disc set starring Ron Perlman (
Beauty and the Beast, Hellboy) and Michael Biehn (
The Terminator) will run 624 minutes. That covers all 22 episodes of the hour-long western drama, including the extra-long pilot. The street date shown is
May 13th, which will make it an excellent gift for Father's Day.

For now, though, DVDEmpire shows the list price as $49.98 SRP (CA$59.98 SRP in Canada), and is currently taking pre-orders for just $35.48. Saddle up!
