Cigarette smoking. Starched shirts. These mainstays of Madison Avenue, circa the '60s, have been used as icons of the package art design for the first and second season home video releases of AMC's hit series,
Mad Men. What else can they use for the third collection of episodes? Will they go back to picturing one of the vices? It seems so: let's just say that Lionsgate will have theirs "neat".
Yesterday Lionsgate
announced the DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases of
Mad Men - Season 3, streeting on
March 23rd. Today the studio has provided retailers with package art for the 4-disc DVD version of this set, seen below. Pictures of the 3-disc Blu-ray version aren't available yet, but are expected to have the same key art that serves up an alcoholic beverage without anything in it (i.e., "neat"). Stay tuned and we'll bring that BD version of the art to you, just as soon as we can!
