MacGyver on-the-way for Dec. 6, Paramount is turning their attention to the 5th season of the show's eight-year run. That season included a number of guest stars that included "Bond girl" (and
Law & Order star) Carey Lowell
*, plus Michael Ensign, Cleavon Little, Mayim Bialik, Robert Ito, Cuba Gooding Jr., Audrey Landers, James Sloyan, Nancy Everhard, Martin Milner, Vic Tayback, and the pea-soup-shooter herself, Linda Blair. Release date is

* - Readers have been questioning this information regarding Carey Lowell. The information was sourced from various internet websites, the most well-known of which is TV.com. The appearance is supposed to be in the double-length Season 5 debut episode. One reader, who only identified himself as "Vic," suggests that those sites listing Lowell as the guest star in question is confusing her with a similar-looking actress named Lise Cutter. We here at TVShowsOnDVD News have no way to confirm which actress is actually in the episode until the DVD is released and we can view the credits of the show, unless the studio steps forward and answers the question for us. Update 11/10/05: Reader Dan Pochert has pointed us toward the MacGyver episode list at Richard Dean Anderson's website, which seems to confirm that this is Lise Cutter in that episode, rather than Cary Lowell. Thanks to everybody who wrote in about this...let's consider the case closed!
