One of the biggest complaints that fans of
M*A*S*H have about the DVD releases so far is the lack of a "Play All" feature. Simply put, viewers have wanted the ability to watch a disc full of episodes straight through, without having to access the menu between each story.
Now comes word that this feature has been added to the upcoming Dec. 9th release of
M*A*S*H - Season 5.
The Finest-Kind.net website reports
here that "The
Season Five DVD, Region One, apparently offers the viewer the choice of watching each episode on a disc one right after another instead of having to go back to the menu and choose another episode...A
M*A*S*H fan e-mailed this information to Finest Kind, stating that they had recieved their three disc set early."
Even though such a feature is not listed
on the back of the box, we've seen where Fox has been making this a regular part of all their other new TV-on-DVD releases, and
M*A*S*H should be no exception.
