Yesterday our friend Thomas K. Arnold posted a
Hollywood Reporter story that was
picked up by Yahoo about TV-DVDs. The topic was the different routes studios will go when a series has finished it's season-set run on DVD, and whether they would go the "complete series" route that many go, or if they would just leave it "as is" with the season sets.
With
M*A*S*H, Fox Home Entertainment was said in Arnold's story to be going the "complete series" route, similar to an approach that was taken with
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, per the article:
20th Century Fox went the big-bang route with "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and will do so again when "M*A*S*H" concludes its 11-season rollout this year.
That also confirms that the 10th and 11th (final) seasons will both make it out this year on DVD. We were
pretty sure that would happen, but it's nice to know for sure! Stay tuned and we'll keep you informed about developments to all of these
M*A*S*H releases.
