In mid-June we
reported that Costco stores had begun getting repackaged season sets of
M*A*S*H, with all 11 seasons showing up individually but packaging 3 discs for each season into a regular-sized plastic case (like you would see any single-disc film normally come in). Below you see a picture of that, which I took at my local store. Now we've learned that soon you won't have to shop at Costco if you prefer to buy the seasons in this manner. On
November 11th, Fox will release these to all other retailers. In fact, they're
already up for pre-order at DVDEmpire.com, currently marked at $29.80 each (a bit more than the Costco price, as you can see). The contents of the discs are the same as the previous releases; this is just a more compact way of getting them.
