A brief update for our
I Love Lucy fans out there: several weeks ago we
posted a news relay about the re-scheduled date for the new "thinner" version of the 1st Season set, and at the end it was mentioned that "
Paramount plans to release the Season Five box set in late August.
Late last week Paramount sent around their in-depth schedule of the July DVD slate, and at the end of it they confirmed that several titles would be seen in
August. Not that we had any doubt, but it was good to see that
I Love Lucy - The Complete 5th Season was among them.
That's all we have right now, and we know it's not much. Stay tuned, though, and we'll fill you in on the exact date, plus pricing, details, and cover art. Just as soon as Paramount/CBS makes all that available, of course!
