As we've said before, on May 3rd Paramount/CBS streets 2 DVD sets for I Love Lucy: the new-to DVD 4th Season set, and a re-release of the 1st Season in a slimmer box!

The 4th Season is the classic "California, Here We Come!" year, where Ricky lands a Hollywood contract and Lucy, Fred, & Ethel come along for the ride! There are a galaxy of guest stars this year, too many to name. But it's hard to forget memorably hilarious appearances by William Holden, Hedda Hopper, and Harpo Marx. Ever wonder what renowned television producer Aaron Spelling looked like in his youth? Find out in this set...he plays a gas station attendent in an episode that also features Tennessee Ernie Ford! 787 minutes, 5 DVDs. A newer 3-D shot of the packaging is found below.

"Vitameatavegamin" is the highlight of the 1st season, whose new lightweight box is shown up on top of this story. Besides the classic episode properly titled "Lucy Does a TV Commercial", there's also the too-funny installments like "Lucy Thinks Ricky is Trying to Murder Her", "The Audition", "Men are Messy", "The Fur Coat", "Breaking the Lease", "The Moustache", "Pioneer Women", "Cuban Pals", and "The Freezer"...just to name some of the great run of 35 shows during the initial season of this classic sitcom! 907 minutes, 7 DVDs.
