Despite a denial from Disney/Buena Vista at the end of May that such a release was not planned (we were specifically told it "would not happen this year"), online retailer Amazon.com has put up a pre-order listing for the December 11th release on Blu-ray Disc of Lost - The Complete 3rd Season. That is day-and-date with the DVD release of the same item. Cost shown for the Blu-ray version is a steep $124.99 list price, but with Amazon's discounts you can lock in your copy now for a "mere" $87.45. The only other info in Amazon's listing is that it would come on 6 discs in the Blu-ray hi-def format.
TVShowsOnDVD spotted this late yesterday, and immediately began trying to get in touch with Disney/Buena Vista's marketing team for Blu-ray products. However, the studio's representatives have not replied by press time with a confirmation or denial of this release information. According to one of my sources, though, the studio is currently working on an official announcement. Stay tuned, and we'll keep you updated with further developments! My own personal speculation is that they may be timing this to announce during the San Diego Comic Con this weekend, which TVShowsOnDVD webmaster Gord Lacey will be attending.
