A couple of weeks ago we published
this news item explaining that, per Amazon.com,
The Lost World - Season 1 had been cancelled.
We wanted to alert you that this wasn't a cancellation after all, just a simple delay. Amazon.com, Amazon.ca (their Canadian branch), and DVDPlanet.com all have adjusted their existing release entries to show the new date of January 27, 2004.
DVDEmpire.com also shows the same date. However, if you've placed a pre-order with them, you may need to be aware of this: the release listing you would have previously used to order the item at
this link has been superceded, as of last Friday (Nov. 28th), by this new release listing found
here. You'll want to contact DVDEmpire and have your pre-orders adjusted (and note that the prices are different by $3, so you may want to discuss that, too).
Note that the new listings no longer seem to mention the same list of supplements that the previous listings did. That is because distributer Ingram Entertainment doesn't include them in their information. We'll be in touch with them and find out what extras, if any, will be on this set.
