Late in January we
posted news that Fox Home Entertainment's consumer website for TV-DVD releases was showing a mid-June release for
Lost In Space - Season 3, Volume 2. It was one of a whole slew of TV-DVD titles added to the "coming soon" list at that site around that time, and a few of those dates turned out to be incorrect, so Fox had the web people back out all the additions to that list, including
Lost In Space.
Apparently a good plan, because it seems the date did not turn out to be dead-on in the end! DVDPlanet added
a pre-order listing for
Lost In Space - Season 3, Volume 2 yesterday, and they show the release coming a month later, on
July 19th.
$29.95 is the SRP shown, but DVDPlanet takes 30% off right now so you only would pay $20.97. Other than that, the e-tailer only says this is a 3-disc set with full-frame video and English soundtrack, which is what we expected of course. Fox hasn't distributed a formal announcement for this release yet, but we expect they will in the near future. Stay tuned, and we'll bring it to you just as soon as we get it!
