When we first
got word that
Lost In Space - The Complete 1st Season was coming to DVD, it was based on information from Kevin Burns, the producer of
"Lost in Space Forever", and who's been involved in keeping the show alive in other ways for many years.
Now the fan website Jup2.com has posted
this letter from Kevin Burns, stating that more CAN be expected from Fox Home Entertainment:

Fox has indicated an interest in releasing LIS/Season Two on DVD in July with Season Three to come out next January. Not confirmed yet -- but it's on their schedule as of this writing.

WOW!! I must say that I'm pleased by this, and I expect many of you will be, too! It seems that Fox was pleased with sales of
Season 1, and decided to press on. No word in there, though, on whether the future releases will be put together the same way as the first package, or if the sales justified investing more money in the follow-ups so that we could get supplemental material or perhaps even digitally remastered video.
