New York - Discover the nonsensical wonders of science as the BBC introduces to DVD the BAFTA nominated comedy series from creators-stars Robert Popper (Peep Show, Hot Fuzz) and Peter Serafinowicz (Couples Retreat, Shaun of the Dead), Look Around You: Season One. The critically acclaimed series, which first premiered on BBC AMERICA and aired on Adult Swim in the U.S. this past winter, follows presenters Jack Morgan (Popper) and Peter Packard (Serafinowicz) as they guide viewers through a series of gloriously deadpan experiments.

Guest stars from the first season include Simon Pegg (Star Trek, Run Fat Boy Run), Nick Frost (Pirate Radio, Hot Fuzz), Matt Lucas (Little Britain) and David Walliams (Little Britain), Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) and Sarah Alexander (Coupling).

Hailed by Wired as "a nonsensical blast from the past," the comedy series is based on the unforgettable educational programs of the 1970's. In eight episodes that Entertainment Weekly called "hilarious," viewers will observe a colony of ants build an igloo, receive a telephone call from a brain, discover why ghosts can't whistle, and reveal the largest number in the world.

Look Around You: Season One is also loaded with tons of bonus features including a full-length pop-up video "Little Mouse," the advanced double length module "Calcium," a play-at-home quiz, newly recorded commentaries and more.
