The Littles - New Release Date, Final Cover Art, Extras & More for The Complete Unedited Series

It's been a month since our last update about The Littles - The Complete Unedited Series on DVD. There are a number of things to pass along about this release now, so why don't we just list them here. Our thanks to reader Tyler Schug, who wrote in with information he obtained and that Brett Fern had obtained, and also to S'more Entertainment president Arny Schorr for talking directly to us and providing his confirmation and assistance. Heres the latest:

• The October 16th release date has changed to November 13th
• The set will be 5 DVDs with all 29 episodes from all three seasons
• Episodes are remastered original versions, completely unedited, running 455 minutes
• Included are the segments "The Little Ideas for Big People" (S1, S2) and "Little Known Facts" (S3)
• Extras include an Interview with Marc Scott Zicree, writer of several episodes (already recorded), and possibly Storyboards, Scripts and more
• List price is $39.99, and you can pre-order it from Amazon at a discount

Rarely seen by human eyes, little people with tails and pointed ears live in the walls of houses and the tiny spaces of the world. These nearly human creatures are known as "The Littles" and they live much as we do, in tightly-knit loving families with the same cares, worries, and joys that we share. But being so tiny in so large a world brings many adventures and dangers to the Littles, for something as sweet and cuddly as a household cat is a real menace to them. Henry Bigg, a 12 year old boy who has discovered the existence of the Littles, joins them in many of their adventures as the Littles live, unseen by everyone but Henry, in his home. They also travel to many far off places of the world meeting other Littles and having even more adventures.

This series focuses on one particular family, the Littles - Grandpa, Mom (Helen) and Dad (Frank), Dinky, and the two youngest children: Tom and Lucy. In their quest to become productive adults, the Littles and their full sized human friend Henry face the same kinds of problems that young children face every day - issues of friendship, jealousy, honesty, prejudice, consideration for others, kindness, responsibility, risk-taking...and more.
