Last week we
passed along the word that
Lincoln Heights - The Complete 1st Season is coming to DVD from Shout! Factory this February. We found out about it from
a pre-order listing at Amazon, which originally said the release date would be "February 9th," but now is showing a different street date of
February 16th. The e-tailer has also added package art for this 4-disc set, and we've got that for you below.
We're not perfectly sure about the date change, though, because Shout! Factory's own website
includes a listing for the title that continues to say 2/9/2010 will be the day that it becomes available. It could be, though, that this listing just hasn't been updated just yet with a recent change (while the Amazon one may have been). The Shout! website listing also includes track-by-track contents, and according to it
the fourth disc contains bonus material such as Web Featurettes, a Gag Reel, and Casting Sessions.
CORRECTION: Shout! Factory has seen our above story, and contacted us quickly to inform us that the extras-related information in the
Lincoln Heights listing at their website was an error. There are, unfortunately, no bonus materials on this release. The information that went up there by mistake came from a "wish list," of sorts, of extras that had been assembled early in the project, that the production team had hoped to include. Reasons why these supplements didn't make it after all (nor any others) were not offered to us; just the assurance that the Shout! website listing is being corrected immediately to remove that. We thought you ought to know immediately. We regret any confusion and/or disappointment caused by this.
