Today is the street date for
Lil' Bush: Resident of the United States - Season 1 Uncensored: The Invasion Begins on DVD, and while we usually get press releases for DVD sets anywhere from 30-90 days prior to release, this one just showed up yesterday afternoon! Normally we wouldn't bother this late, but this one *does* contain a little bit of info we hadn't seen before and had caught our eye...notably the part about Audio Commentary with Jerry Springer, Ralph Nader, and Tucker Carlson. Iggy Pop, best known for his band Iggy & the Stooges, has joined the cast as the voice of Lil' Bush's confidant, "Lil' Rummy." Rummy is a classic schoolyard bully with a few charming psychopathic quirks. Iggy is joined in later episodes by guest voices from the music world including Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters, Frank Black from the Pixies, Jeff Tweedy from Wilco and the Red Hot Chili Peppers as themselves.
