Thanks to reader Tom Ungvarsky, we got a tip about an
interview Chris Elliott gave a while back (it's undated, so we're not sure when this was done) at a website called "SuicideGirls.com". There, Elliott was asked about Get A Life on DVD. His response was:
"Interesting that you bring that up. I wasn't going to. But I think Sony's going to release the first season. A few years ago some DVDs were put out by one of the creators, not Adam and not me. I had absolutely no say over it and wasn't even consulted in the process. So I didn't even do any commentary. For the first season DVD, we did commentary and a little featurette. But it's being held up in the legal world by someone."
Hopefully the legal issue that Elliott mentions in passing will be quickly resolved, and the season sets can then jump onto the studio's release schedule. We'll be looking for that, and will report it if and when we see anything. So stay tuned!
