It's been close to a month since we
reported that Amazon.com had begun taking pre-orders for
Lie to Me - Season 1 on both
DVD ($49.98 SRP) and
Blu-ray Disc ($59.99 SRP) formats, even though the studio hadn't announced the titles yet.
Well, Fox Home Video still hasn't formally announced the titles, at least as of this writing...not even to retailers. However, Amazon has today updated their pre-order listings to show a release date! That date, for both versions, is
August 11th.
The listings now also show some specs, too, but we're not certain how correct some of them are (at least a couple of them are obviously wrong, such as the 60-minute running time on the DVD listing). And there's no cover art there yet, either...just the same temp promo art that's been there all along. Stay tuned, however, and we'll keep you posted as soon as further developments occur!
