Leave It to Beaver - Packaging for Shout! Factory's '20 Timeless Episodes' 2-DVD Set

Budget-conscious collection will be out at the end of January

Posted by David Lambert
One of the most popular series in TV history, Leave It to Beaver (1957-1963) stood out from the flock during TV's golden age. While many contemporary shows were star-driven vehicles in which the kids were merely supporting players, Beaver's action centered on the children: seven year Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver and his 12-year-old brother Wally. Though the show went off the air in the '60s, it continues to charm new generations even today. This incredibly valued 2-disc set with great content and a low price will be irresistible to "impulse" shoppers. Featuring 20 favorite and beloved episodes starring Jerry Mathers, Barbara Billingsley, Hugh Beaumont, and Tony Dow.
Last week we reported that Shout! Factory is preparing a January 31st DVD release of Leave It to Beaver - 20 Timeless Episodes, a $12.99 SRP collection aimed at casual fans. While we don't have the actual episode list, we did obtain the studio description for retailers, which is quoted above. We also have the package art for you below, as you can see:
