In late January we
posted a story relaying info from Universal Studios press release that mentioned a May 17th release of the 3rd Season of
Law & Order. That date has since slipped by a week, but fans will be very happy to know that the release is finally, formally announced!
Law & Order - The 3rd Year/1992-93 Season arrives on May 24th, featuring 22 episodes on 3 dual-sided, double-density DVD-18s. Cost is $59.98 SRP for 1045 minutes running time. Video is full screen, and audio is English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo. You'll also get subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. Extras, if any, have not been announced yet.
This is the season where the late Jerry Orbach became part of the show's main cast as Det. Lennie Briscoe, in an episode about a third of the way into the season, right at the time Paul Sorvino's Sgt. Phil Cerreta is departing. Guest stars include Claire Danes, Felicity Huffman, Adam Arkin, Edie Falco, Dan Hedaya, Julianna Margulies, Allan Arbus, and Jorja Fox, among many others.
