Law & Order - The 2nd Year is coming out on May 4th, and giving you the specs and price, you didn't think there would be more for us to tell you. Right?
Wrong. We've got a few more tidbits for you tonight, before you enjoy your weekend. First off, if you haven't bought
The 1st Year box set release yet, you might want to wait on that. Universal has let us know that consumers will be able to save $10 when they purchase
Law & Order - The 1st Year and
The 2nd Year together, anytime between May 4th and October 31st.
Next, you'll be happy to know that this set features never-seen-before Bonus Material, including a Featurette and 30 minutes of interviews with cast and crew members.
Finally, you'll want to know what's so exciting about the episodes themselves...since, after all, that's what you're here for. Right? Well, fans of television drama will find that this season features some of the brightest drama stars from modern television, guest-starring in roles throughout the season. Look for Jerry Orbach (who didn't become a regular until the third season),
ER's William H. Macy, Maura Tierney and Lisa Nicole Carson (also known for
Ally McBeal),
The West Wing's Allison Janney,
The Practice's Kelli Williams,
The Sopranos' Nancy Marchand,
Oz's Luis Guzmán, and Sam Rockwell from the very short-lived
Prince Street (soon to play Zaphod Beeblebrox in the remake big-film version of
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy). Also look for another well-known actor who is no stranger to television: Jerry Stiller (
Seinfeld, King of Queens).
