Several weeks ago we posted Universal's official
press release, with all the details of their
November 8th title,
Law & Order - The Complete Series. The 104-DVD package will contain all 20 seasons of the legendary long-running drama. When we posted that press release, we had an image at the top of the packaging, but we had this note with it: "
The packaging picture shown is a black-and-white image, which is the only version available at this time; the actual box is expected to be in color." That was our best guess at the time, but today new pictures were posted at the Amazon.com pre-order listing (our thanks to reader Gavin Marquardt for the heads-up about this!). Those new images of the packaging are shown below, and as you can see there appears to be a color interior, but the exterior is apparently going to actually be in black-and-white! See for yourself!
