The other week we were very happy to bring you
this news about the coming of
Laverne & Shirley - The Complete 1st Season on DVD.
Now we have some cover art to show you. We're not sure if this is the final cover art that Paramount is going to use for this release, but the studio has been showing it to their distributors for the past couple of weeks. They have not distributed it to press yet, but we managed to obtain the shot below. We've enhanced the picture with black lines along the edges to make the white box stand out on the white background, but that was our only adjustment. Have a peek:
As we reported,
Aug. 17th is the day this hits stores, with 3 discs featuring all 15 of the show's episodes from Season 1. It includes "Bowling For Razzberries," named by
TV Guide as a classic episode, in which an under-the-weather Laverne abandons her sickbed in order to take on a snooty rival in a bowling tournament. That was a great one! If we find out anything more about this set, or if the cover art changes, we'll be sure to let you know.
