The second season of NBC's hot show, Las Vegas, will be released on September 13, almost a week before the third season returns on September 19. The three double-sided discs will be released in slim cases, and placed inside a slipcase. The A/V specs are the same as season 1; Anamorphic Widescreen (1.78:1) transfer, with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track, and English/Spanish subtitles. The set will include longer versions of the 24 season 2 episodes, featuring footage too hot for TV. The set will retail for $59.98.
Universal hasn't announced any special features for the set, but I got some inside info from Gary Scott Thompson, the creator of the show. He told me that the set will include gag reels for the first and second seasons, as well as some other bonus features. Of course these aren't officially on the set until they're announced by Universal, so keep your fingers crossed.
