Laredo fans an apology for letting this one get away from us a bit, and not posting it before now.
Timeless Media Group had previously announced
Laredo - The Best of Season 2, Part 1 to come out a week and a half ago, on August 5th. When this 3-disc set didn't ship on time, reader Richard Archer sent us a heads-up about it, and mentioned that Amazon had a different release date that - at the time - said "October." Richard also mentioned that he had seen rumors elsewhere that Peter Brown, who played "Chad Cooper" on this show, would be participating in bonus material on an upcoming release. We contacted TMG to confirm all of this this, and we were given the following info:
Laredo Season 2 Part One will be released on 09/30/08. The Peter Brown extras will be on our Laredo Complete Series set, which there is no release date at this point in time.
Our thanks to Richard for the tip off about these things, and to TMG for their help confirming it all. Again, our apologies that we accidentally sat on this info for a bit; it got lost in the shuffle of all the other news we've been getting lately! We'll certainly try to keep on top of this a bit quicker next time, okay? In the meantime, Amazon now shows the correct new release date of
