This past December we
reported that Timeless Media Group was scheduling a DVD release of
Laramie - Season 3 for release on February 10th. That was a week ago today, and fans of the show were unable to find it in stores on that day, or since. A
listing at Amazon for the title isn't taking pre-orders, and doesn't show a release date...it only says to "Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available." What happened? Well, the studio never sent a heads-up our way about it, but reader Garry Smith stumbled across the answer at TMG's website. There it says that this title's current release date is
March 30th, so the studio must have delayed it at some point. But that's a Monday, and DVD street dates are on Tuesdays, so for now we're assuming that's a typo and going with the 31st (unless we hear otherwise of course). Thanks for the heads-up, Garry!
UPDATE: Apparently TMG has already shipped this set to Sam's Club, because since posting this story earlier this afternoon, we've had a ton of people write in to say that they've seen it there. Thanks to everyone who wrote in; hopefully non-club members will have access to the title soon.
