Last week
we talked about what we
thought would be the situation for Showtime's upcoming DVD release of
The L Word - Season 1. Now we know for sure!
As expected, the release date IS
November 9th, and the price is $69.99 SRP for a 5-DVD set. The last disc is packed with special features, including (but not limited to):
- A Blooper Reel
- Never-Before-Seen Footage, including extended scenes the episode "Locked Up," where Bette (Flashdance's Jennifer Beals) goes to prison
- An Original Puppet Show Performed by the Cast
- And Much, Much More!
All 14 hour-long episodes will be included on this set, just in time for you to catch up before the 2nd season starts airing next January. Here's the cover art for the first season's DVDs:
