During the season finale Showtime talked about a upcoming DVD release.
That information is easily verifiable by checking out the official Showtime website for
The L Word. If you click on the link to
the show's official message boards, you'll see a quick blurb near the top about it. We've taken a screen capture of that, and circled the important part in blue:
Our informant, Daniel, thinks that this release will probably happen just in time to promote the 2nd season of the show, which was
already guaranteed after just two episodes aired! We spoke to Showtime and they confirmed that the set will be released in November or December of this year. It's possible that the date may move, but that's what they're aiming for right now.
