Unresolved romances and a long-simmering film project finally bear fruit in the sixth season of THE L WORD®. Dreams come true and new life paths are forged for many of the series' characters this year, but not without the The L Word's trademark provocative storylines, sizzling sexuality, and heart-rending emotion.
It's been over five months since we
told you that online mega-retailer Amazon.com had begin taking advance orders for
The L Word - Season 6 on DVD. That Amazon listing (see button link below) didn't mention a release date at the time, however, because Showtime and Paramount Home Entertainment had not announced the title's schedule. Until this morning, that is!
The sixth and final season of the popular show starring Jennifer Beals and Pam Grier comes to DVD on
October 20th. Running 438 minutes long, it will be presented in anamorphic widescreen video. According to Amazon, the list price is $59.99 SRP, So far, no
cover art pictures or any other details are available so far, except an indication that the title on the box may actually be "
The L Word - The Final Season." We'll let you know about that, and anything else we can find out, just as soon as we can. Stay tuned!
