Kung Fu - Package Art for The Complete Collection Gift Set, Coming This November

Not Announced Yet, But Gossip Gives a November 6th Street Date

Posted by David Lambert
Who wouldn't want every single episode of a classic TV series that not only stars David Carradine, but includes guest stars such as William Shatner, George Takei, Jodie Foster, Harrison Ford, Don Johnson, Mako, Robert Urich, Tina Louise, Leslie Nielsen, Nancy Kwan, Pat Morita, Barbara Hershey, James Hong, Diana Muldaur, Tim Matheson, John Saxon, Rosalind Chao, Richard Hatch, Dana Elcar, Merlin Olsen, Anne Francis, John Drew Barrymore (Drew's father), John Blyth Barrymore (Drew's brother), José Feliciano, Gary Busey, Denver Pyle, Victor French, Lynda Day George, Ken Swofford, Edward Albert, Sondra Locke, Sorrell Booke, William Katt, Stefanie Powers, Wilford Brimley, Carl Weathers, A. Martinez, Robert Ito, John Carradine (David's father), Keith Carradine (one of David's brothers), and Robert Carradine (another of David's brothers).

Wow. And that's not even a complete list!

In a few recent TV-DVD releases such as Supernatural, Warner Home Video has been including catalog inserts that mention an upcoming DVD set of Kung Fu - The Complete Collection. The plans mentioned in the brochure call for a November 2007 release of this package. We've been told rumors of a November 6th street date from our retail contacts, and checked with Warner to verify.

The studio has confirmed that this is coming, as a 3-season gift set (no new content) in a new slipcase package (see below). But, prior to the official announcement, they are only able to tell us it is coming "in the 4th quarter," and they don't have a price for us yet. Stay tuned, though, and we'll keep you updated!
