Back in March, 2007, Genius Entertainment released
Kong: The Animated Series - The Animated Series Gift Set, a 5-disc collection of all 40 episodes of the regular series plus the CGI full-length film
Kong: Return To The Jungle. Genius distributed the set for BKN International, and apparently their license agreement has expired.
This past December
BKN signed with Image Entertainment, and Image has now announced that they are re-issuing the box set on
June 30th. The content appears to be identical, and the price a bit lower at $24.98 SRP. Image isn't providing box art yet, so we don't know if the packaging will differ or not. Image will also re-release BKN's
