Kojak - Season 1 was coming in 2005. We even included a (somewhat fuzzy) small picture of the cover art with an oval that said this set was coming in March...but we warned you that it might not make it in that month, per our discussion with Universal Studios Home Video.
Well, we're happy to tell you we were incorrect about the delay! This morning Universal announced that
Kojak - Season 1's 3-DVD box set will arrive on
March 8th. It will come in the original full-frame video, with English Mono sound. French and Spanish subtitles are an option, and it's close captioned for the hearing impaired. The 3 DVDs are all double-sided to accomodate the hour-long police drama starring Telly Savalas, and the running time comes to 1118 minutes. The price will be $39.98 SRP.
