Stephen Fry (Black Adder, Jeeves & Wooster) returns as Peter Kingdom, a warm-hearted, well-respected solicitor who devotes his career to representing the oddball people in the small Norfolk town of Market Shipborough, England.
With cases of military sexism, mysterious crop circles, trespassing Druids, invasions of privacy and ill-behaved nobility, Market Shipborough is a veritable proving ground for all the trials of humanity. Against the striking beauty of the Norfolk landscape, cool-headed Peter Kingdom is the man to go to with any problem - legal or otherwise - in this alternately comical and moving series.

Kingdom: how BFS Entertainment had released the second series (season) in May 2009, and that BBC Video had the rights to the first series and was hoping to get it out for the North American fans sometime this year (2010).
We're still waiting to hear from the BBC on that first batch of episodes, but in the meantime BFS is moving forward with
Kingdom - Series 3 on DVD. It's coming up very soon, too, on
February 16th...we seem to have overlooked this release until a helpful reader, Mike Burns, pointed it out to us (thanks!). It's a 3-disc set running 281 minutes long, and presented in widescreen, for $39.98 SRP. Here's a look at the package art:
