After the
Kellogg's Pop-Tarts Pastry Swirls offer of a free
King of Queens episode on DVD late last year, Kellogg's competitor General Mills has decided to go them one better. Read our
new News Post to find out about how a different
King of Queens episode on DVD - complete with "behind-the-scenes footage and cast interviews" - is soon to appear on cereal boxes among the various Total and Oatmeal Crisp flavors which General Mills produces.
But, while that's good news, the even better news is to be found embedded in the press release about the cereal offer. The press release, co-authored by both General Mills and by
King of Queens studio Sony/Columbia, very plainly tells us this:
The second-season of The King of Queens will be released on DVD by Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment in spring 2004.
Fantastic to know that; fans of the show have been very curious as to when this would be coming. Stay tuned to TVShowsOnDVD, and we'll let you know more on Columbia's announce date for
The King Of Queens - The 2nd Season.
