Keep the Fun Coming with the King of Comedy!
Kevin James, Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller Star in the Hit Comedy Series Which Arrives on DVD June 20 in a Three-Disc Set with 25 Episodes
Culver City, CA - Expect more blue collar fun with the Heffernans when The King of Queens: The Complete Fifth Season debuts on DVD June 20 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Featuring all 25 episodes from the fifth season in a three-disc set, the top-rated CBS series will be available for $39.95 SRP.
Created by Michael J. Weithorn and David Litt (TV's "Ned and Stacey"), The King of Queens was an instant hit with viewers when it debuted on September 1, 1998, and is now in its eighth season. Its all-star cast includes Kevin James (Hitch, Monster House), Leah Remini (Old School) and Jerry Stiller (TV's "Seinfeld"), who each captivate audiences with their own inimitable style. Weithorn and Litt combine Remini's undeniable wit, James' riotous sense of humor and Stiller's bizarrely comical behavior with the everyday challenges facing a working class household to create a classic sitcom family.
With The King of Queens: The Complete Fifth Season, the series passed its 100th episode and continued to deliver audience-pleasing hilarity. The Heffernans deal with more everyday challenges of love, life, family, marriage and new neighbors. Doug (Kevin James) and Carrie (Leah Remini) enthusiastically try to impress their new professional neighbors by inviting them over for dinner. Carrie gets new responsibilities at work, while Doug uses this time to do whatever he wants. Arthur's (Jerry Stiller) bizarre behavior continues as he tries to take advantage of his friend Spence's job by hitching free rides on the subway. Doug and Carrie unwillingly go to church where Doug gets caught praying for the Jets to win. Guest stars during the fifth season include Marcia Cross (TV's "Desperate Housewives"), Dave Foley (TV's "NewsRadio," "Will & Grace"), Anne Meara (The Out-Of-Towners, TV's "Sex and the City"), Ted Lange (TV's "The Love Boat") and Lou Ferrigno (TV's "The Incredible Hulk").
