Columbia/Tristar Home Entertainment today has officially announced
The King Of Queens - Season 2 DVD box set release. 25 episodes at a running time of 622 minutes will be spread across 3 discs. In addition, it will have extras that are known to include bonus trailers and an exclusive featurette called "A Day in the Life of a TV Star," focusing on Kevin James (as Doug Heffernan).
In mid-January we
showed you the possible cover art for this release, taken from a catalog that Columbia was enclosing with other TV-on-DVD releases. We're pleased to tell you that the cover art did indeed change on this one. Why "pleased"? Because, frankly, it was a bit upsetting on the proposed cover to see what looked like Jerry Stiller caressing Kevin James' neck and cheek! We now have the final cover art for you on this release:
April 20th is the release date, and $39.95 is the suggest retail price. Columbia plans to support this release with an online and in-print marketing campaign to promote the DVD set, so you'll be hearing more about it.
