What's the sitch? The situation is this:
Just a few weeks ago, as a Thanksgiving weekend treat, the Disney Channel brought us the special triple-length
Kim Possible feature "A Sitch In Time." The individual portions of the three-parter are subtitled "Past," "Present," and "Future," so you know what that means? Time Travel!
Drakken, Shego, Monkey Fist and Duff Killigan join forces to steal the Tempus Simia, a monkey-shaped stone with the power to create a time portal. Their objective is simple: go back in time to crush Kim Possible's spirit before she can start down her path to heroism. Kim is alerted to the plan by a visitor from the future -- Rufus 3000, a buffed-up, talking descendent of everyone's favorite Naked Molerat. Kim, Rufus 3000 and Ron Stoppable must venture into the past, then into the future to try and halt the evil plot to change history.
Joining the regular cast for this outing are such guest stars as Elliot Gould, Andrea Martin, Kelly Ripa, Freddie Prinze Jr., Raven-Symone, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Clark Duncan, Dakota Fanning, and Michael Dorn.
Now Disney announces a DVD release of
Kim Possible: A Sitch In Time, set for March 16th. Extras include the "Totally Awesome Tempus Semius Simulation Program" (whatever that is), and the "Naked Mole Rap" (which is likely to be the same one that was seen at the end of
Kim Possible: The Secret Files). Coming to you in "family friendly widescreen" (with anamorphic enhancement) and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, this 66-minute-long disc has a list price of $19.99.
