Back in 2004 BBC Video released
Keeping Up Appearances - The Full Bouquet, at the time the most comprehensive collection from the classic Britcom: all 5 series (seasons) of the program, plus all specials and extras which had been released on DVD up until that time. However, in 2007 PBS aired a new special called "Life Lessons from Onslow":
After many years of passively watching Open University on an unreliable TV in his ill-appointed flat, Onslow finds himself teaching an Open University course of his own. His philosophical observations are lavishly illustrated with classic clips from Keeping Up Appearances.
On
September 9th, BBC and distributor Warner Home Video are releasing
Keeping Up Appearances - Life Lessons from Onslow on DVD. This single disc runs $14.97 SRP (you can
pre-order it right now for $10.48) and contains not only the new special featuring one of the show's most beloved characters, but new-to-DVD Interviews as well.
On the same day, BBC and Warner will also release
Keeping Up Appearances - The Full Bouquet: Special Edition, a new package with "all the material", but this time including the new
Onslow disc, with that special and it's additional bonus material. It's graced with new package art, and you can see that at the bottom. Cost is $129.98 SRP for that, and you can
pre-order the bundle from DVDEmpire for $102.68 as of this writing.
