When we first brought you information about Justice League Unlimited - Joining Forces, we knew of a couple of extras, but had no info about which episodes were included. Thanks to a back-of-the-box shot, we now have a complete list of both for you:
It's a party they'll never forget in "For the Man Who Has Everything", when Mongul surprises Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman at the Fortress of Solitude on Superman's birthday. Then, more than a dozen leaguers take on the mighty android Amazo, seeking revenge against Lex Luthor in "The Return", and the shocking episode ending poses more questions about the League's future! Finally, "The Greatest Story Never Told" features Booster Gold, a glory-hunting hero from the future who finally gets into the action and saves the day...but he's the only one who knows it! Join the fight for justice with JLU!

Extras:
  • The Science of Superheroes: Secrets Behind Superman's Power of Flight
  • Voices of Justice: Super Voice Lessons from the Professionals
  • Justice League Superhero Challenge

"For the Man Who Has Everything" is based on the 1985 comic book story of the same name, which appeared in Superman Annual #11. It was written by Alan Moore and drawn by Dave Gibbons. In the comic version, Robin also appeared, but in the TV series they keep Robin segregated into the Teen Titans series, and so they chose not to cross him over here for this installment. Bruce Timm thought about including him, but after a discussion he was convinced it wasn't necessary. In any case, the comic story featured the late Jason Todd as Robin, not Dick Grayson (nor, for that matter, Tim Drake). In case you're wondering, Alan Moore was asked if the story could be adapted for Justice League Unlimited, and he replied that he would be honored if they did so! In the end, it turned out to be a neat episode - and the only one up to that time involving JUST the three iconic heroes of the DC Universe. If you haven't seen it yet, you'll likely be surprised at some aspects of the ending. Don't miss it!
