press release for the
February 26th debut of
Justice League: The New Frontier on DVD confirmed that there would be a single-DVD version of the release, a 2-DVD Special Edition version of the release, and that Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD versions would also be coming on the same date. The high-definition Blu-ray and HD DVD editions would have all the contents from the DVD 2-disc Special Edition, it said, and now we know it will have the same box art as well.
At the bottom of the press release we showed you the boxes for both DVD packages, and now we have the package art for the Blu-ray and also the HD DVD releases of
Justice League: The New Frontier - Special Edition. Hmmm...here's an interesting question: the HD DVD is a "hybrid" release with one side containing the material on DVD. But we suppose that the DVD side of that is the same as the single-disc DVD contents, eh? Not sure, but it makes sense!
