Recently the Infinity Entertainment Group and the Falcon Picture Group have teamed up for single-disc DVD releases of
The Judy Garland Show, with titles in stores now for a
Volume 1, a
Volume 2 and also the
Judy Garland Holiday Special. Now it seems that Infinity/Falcon is going to also do a multi-disc title, too.
While the studios haven't announced anything yet, there's
a pre-order listing at Amazon called "
Judy Garland Show Box," a 4-DVD set that has a list price of $29.98 SRP. The release date provided is
December 8th. No further information is available there, but one of our retail industry contacts did pass along this small look at the cover art for us.
As you can see, the actual title is
The Judy Garland Show - Collection. Which is the same name as a discontinued
1999 release from Pioneer. We don't know if the content is the same, though, or just the title; our contact has no other details besides what we've already provided. Stay tuned, however, and we hope to be able to update you with more information before this gets into stores!
