We've gotten an early heads-up from The Cartoon Network and Warner Home Video that they are preparing a Halloween-themed DVD release, compiling episodes from various Cartoon Network series into a one-disc celebration of the harvest-time holiday.
August 10th will see the release of
Cartoon Network Halloween - 9 Creepy Cartoon Capers, featuring episodes from:
- Johnny Bravo
- Ed, Edd n Eddy
- Courage the Cowardly Dog
- The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
...and possibly others as well. This single-disc release will feature 107 minutes of original episodes from those series, at a list price of $14.97. Here's the cover art, which for some reason skipped showing Johnny on it (the nerve!):
Video is 1.33:1 full screen, and sound is in English but you'll also have the option of subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. This is also closed captioned for the hearing impaired. Stay tuned, and we'll try to get ahold of an exact episode list for this release.
