We have heard from numerous fans of Joan of Arcadia, who are missing the canceled show terribly. The series starred Amber Tamblyn, Joe Mantegna, Mary Steenburgen, Jason Ritter, Michael Welch and, of course, God (appearing in numerous guises and therefore represented by various actors and actresses). Fans have been very upset that the second and final season of the Emmy-nominated program has not been announced for DVD yet, nine months after the first season was released.
Fear not, our industry insiders tell us! Joan of Arcadia - The 2nd Season IS on the radar at Paramount Home Entertainment for DVD release, and you should see it later this year. We're not sure when, but you CAN expect to get all remaining 22 episodes on DVD at some point in 2006. This is early info, of course (gossip, really), and subject to change, but hopefully it will help you to know that it isn't forgotten.
