This is the second of three rumor posts at TVShowsOnDVD today. Industry sources have given us the heads-up on a few titles soon to be announced by their respective studios (some sooner than others).
Today we posted
an update for
Touched by an Angel - The Complete 2nd Season. That was our first "rumor" of the day, that it will soon be formally announced for a May 3rd release. But Paramount/CBS won't be through with heavenly television at that point!
Our second rumor for today is that Paramount Home Entertainment will shortly announce a
May 10th release for
Joan of Arcadia - The Complete 1st Season. The popular show is currently in its second season, and the plan - as we've
mentioned before - is to get both seasons onto DVD in time to help promote a probable third season debut this Fall. Toward that end, tentative plans for a
Complete 2nd Season release of
Joan are pencilled in for Sept. 27th.
The season two plans are extremely subject to change, but the first season date is pretty firm and should be formally announced any day now. We'll bring that to you just as soon as they do, so stay tuned!
