In 2003 we saw the release of
Jim Henson's The Storyteller - The Storyteller Collection, and in 2004 the studio followed up with
Jim Henson's The Storyteller: Greek Myths - The Complete Series. Now Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is announcing a new "double feature" DVD package which combines both of these into a single release!
May 23rd sees the release of
Jim Henson's The Storyteller: The Definitive Collection, a 2-DVD set with all 13 episodes from both series. The cost is just $19.94 SRP. Look for the cast to include John Hurt, Sean Bean, Gabrielle Anwar, and
Harry Potter's Michael Gambon. Stay tuned and we'll get a sharper shot of the box art (which is subject to change from the above), plus any further details about this release that the studio provides.
