In a letter to fans of
Jericho, CBS President Nina Tassler announced that they were picking up the show for 7 additional episodes to be broadcast mid-season next year. Tassler also revealed the date of the season 1 set -
September 25, which was 2 weeks later than the

We have some additional information about the season 1 set; the bonus material. David Naylor, a friend of ours, and an excellent DVD producer, was recently profiled by the LA Times for an article. The Times caught up with Naylor as he was working on the set of
Jericho, shooting bonus material for the DVD set. Here's the material of interest in the article:
When released this fall, the DVD will be loaded with commentaries, deleted scenes and other features, including a documentary about the nuclear arms trade, all of them produced by DVD Group, Naylor's 3-year-old firm.
