MTV Home Video has announced plans to release
Jackass Volume 1 on
December 6. This 122 min DVD will feature 50 unreleased (we assume on home video) skits and audio commentary featuring Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Dave England, Jason "Wee Man" Acuna, Ehren McGhehey, Preston Lacy, Dimitry Elyashkevich and Jeff Tremaine. List price for the single disc is $19.99, but
Amazon has it for preorder for $13.99.

While Volume 1 sounds good, you don't want to buy it. Nope, you want the Jackass box set featuring Volume 1, 2 and 3, plus a special bonus DVD. "But Gord, I already own volumes 2 and 3!" I'm sure you do, but these are the new and improved volumes 2 and 3 which feature half an hour of added material, plus commentary from all the guys on volume 1! Plus you get the 4th disc which includes Cribs episodes featuring the Jackass guys, the "Gumball Rally" special, a montage of Jackass appearances and a "Where are they Now?" featurette (which we're told should run nearly an hour). You'll also get a 48 page book with information and pictures about the show. The set sells for $59.98, but Amazon.com is selling it for $41.99.
The black box set has appeared in some trailers for the set, but we'll have official art from MTV when it's made available to us.
