A few weeks ago we
reported that Method Films/Genius Entertainment had slightly delayed their release of
Iron Man: Armored Adventures - Volume 1 on DVD. Originally announced for October 20th, it was pushed back a week to October 27th.
Overnight we received an alert from one of our retailer contacts, that the title was now back on track for the original street date. We've double-checked with the password-protected retailer/press site for Genius Entertainment, and sure enough the schedule there is now showing
October 20th once again for the DVD!
On the other hand, the previously-mentioned Blu-ray Disc version of this release, whose cover art even appears on a sell sheet/trade ad for the title (seen at bottom), still isn't back on the schedule there. So it looks like they're sticking to the DVD version, at least for now. However, Amazon still shows a pre-order listing for the BD, just without a date. The DVD pre-order listing at Amazon (click button link below) still shows the 27th, but we expect it to be adjusted in the near future.
