Invader Zim - Volume 1: Doom Doom Doom's release date of May 11th rapidly approaching, word is starting to leak out about the second release in the DVD series.
AnimatedBliss.com brings us word that Tuesday,
August 31st is the release date for
Invader Zim - Volume 2: Progressive Stupidity. Like the first disc, the list price on this release will be $24.95, and the reported running time is 225 minutes.
Also interesting in the report at Animated Bliss is a shot of what they say was the "proposed" cover art for
Volume 2...before it was rejected! Read their report for quotes from Rosearik Rikki Simons (voice of "Gir") about what creator Jhonen Vasquez's reaction was to Nickelodeon's rejection of that cover, and what we can probably expect instead. This information was taken directly from
