We have an exciting first look this morning at a package that many of you are looking forward to (even if you do say it's for your kids, rather than for yourself). It's Shout! Factory's first
Inspector Gadget box set release, a 4-DVD collection that we've known
since November is targeted for an
April 25th release.
DiC cartoons like
Gadget had previously been produced on DVD as single-disc releases by UAV, but when the license with them was up DiC went to Shout! to have them make a bigger, multi-disc effort with these. Fans have been extremely happy so far with the other DiC properties from Shout!, and this is one of the most endearing classics among the studio's titles. The SRP for this release is $39.98, but you can already pre-order it from several online retailers, including
